Peru belongs to the ages now, but before that to the Incas, one of the most amazing peoples to walk the earth. They left a wealth of lost cities and ruins behind, Machu Picchu the most famous of the lot. During a month's stay I saw enough to spend a lifetime photographing and painting my impressions of the place. I hiked one afternoon to the fabled Sun Gate to see the city from a different perspective. Hidden in the sacred valley was another village, Ollantaytambo, with cobbled streets that seemed to disappear into the horizon. Of course, I had to follow that street to its end.
